New free app for parents

The SEEN Marketplace returns as part of SEEN Festival 2025, taking place on Saturday 11 October at Broadway Theatre, Catford. This one-day event will celebrate the rich diversity of Lewisham through a vibrant showcase of handmade crafts, fashion, art, food, homeware, books, and more.

Joy Productions and Broadway Theatre, the award-winning panto partnership behind last year’s Sleeping Beauty, winner of the Off-West End Awards’ Best Production 2025, return to present Dick Whittington and his Catford Cat, their third consecutive festive family show.

At Full Council on Wednesday 16 July, Cllr Sakina Sheikh announced Lewisham Council would be partnering with a leading events company to bring back Blackheath Fireworks.
